One of the better name apps

Great variety and origins. I like how you can rate the names and save them.

This app is probably the best one out there as far as having the most names. The problem I had was that there are so many names its becomes an overload. Currently the search algorithm hinges around popularity and origin. Origin search was helpful but with so many names you just need something else and I could care less about how popular a name is in picking my favorites. The app just needs a better way of sorting and searching names. It also needs a better way of marking favorites. Currently it revolves around a star system which is not necessarily helpful when you have so many names. I would prefer a yes/no system initially and then a separate ranking that would allow me to rank the names in the list once I pick all my favorites.

That this app updated the rankings. They are 5 years old and comparable apps have newer results.

So many names! As odd as it seems, I use baby name books/apps a lot as a writer for naming characters, and this one cant be beat for variety. It even has some of those really unusual names Ive only ever heard in antiquity.

I cant login after have this app for a while. I contacted customer service and they wrote me back asking for a screenshot of an error, which I sent, and then never heard back again, even after following up again.. Its now been 3 weeks and Ive heard nothing else from them.

I like the feature of turning your phone to see extra info such as map origins

Gives plenty of information & really helps in picking a name.

I searched two different names that are English orgins and they did not even have them listed. It seems the popularity of names has not been updated since 2011, as that is the latest I could find on the dozen names I searched. This app should be listed as "Muslim baby names," though, because those rule about 70-80% of listed names. Definitely not what I was looking for.

No updates on years since 2012!!!! Do not pay .99 for this. You cant even change the year from 2012.
