Baby Names app good for
I like the genius part where it suggests names based on the parents names. Also being able to look for names with specific beginnings or ending in a certain way was very helpful.
I just downloaded it to browse some baby names... I like the explanations and the descriptions where the name comes from and what it means.
I like it, even if not all names are in the database yet
Works great. Has tons of names, easy to search and favourite. I especially like that the popularity info is located right under the names meaning. Five stars!
Super handy and easy to use, I love the search function. If the favourites could be sorted it would be nice. Overall great app!

Some bad moments
I spent less than five minutes eith this app and already spotted some major mismatches concerning the gender. In which world is katrina a unisex name? And janne is a finnish boys name... Really disappointing
Just updated the app and its constantly taking me to the App Store to random game apps. Just had it do that to me in 5 times in the past 5 minutes. Please fix, this was not a half bad app. Not great, but better than most of the others Ive found.
I just downloaded it based on other comments, but it has already crashed three times and an ad for Game of War wont go away.
Not worth it.
This app is terrible. The names to do match the origins and there is no clear way to find normal AMERICAN names. There is no difference in the African-American names and the American English names.
I understand advertising in free apps, you have to make revenue somewhere. However, when it redirects me to the App Store so fast it freezes my phone, I get angry. It would redirect, Id go back to the app, and AS SOON as I got back it redirected me again. It was so fast that I couldnt even navigate the app. It was literally two seconds before it rerouted. And it didnt just do it a couple times, I tried to wrestle it for five minutes before my phone froze so I lost my patience and flipped out. I dont write reviews, but thats ridiculous.
Advertising. When you scroll and are nowhere near clicking an ad, it directs you to the App Store so quickly that it freezes the app and then my phone. Names arent all up-to-date and neither are the years. I cant find number of births by name for 2015.
